Shred Station CT - July Newsletter
Happy Summer! We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July, are enjoying the warm weather, and staying healthy.
Here are some sun facts for July:
- July is named after Roman dictator Julius Caesar (100 B.C.–44 B.C.). With the help of Sosigenes, Caesar developed the precursor to the Gregorian calendar we use today.
- On July 14 each year, people in France, parts of North America, and elsewhere celebrate La Fête Nationale or Le Quatorze (14th) Juillet. Known as Bastille Day outside of France, the holiday commemorates the storming of the Bastille, which ignited the French Revolution.
- July is an exciting month for stargazing and bright planets. Both Jupiter and Saturn will reach their closest point to Earth and be at their brightest.
- July is National Watermelon Month – yum!
Cheers!
