Shred Station CT - February Newsletter

We hope you enjoyed your day off on the 15th to celebrate President’s Day!

Here are some February Fun Facts, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac:

  • February is the only month to have a length of less than 30 days. Though it’s usually 28 days, February is 29 days in leap years.
  • January and February were the last 2 months added to the Roman calendar in 713 BC. Originally, winter was considered a month-less period.
  • Originally, February was made the last month of the calendar year, but eventually was moved to its place as the second month in 450 BC.

And finally, did you know that since 1888, George Washington’s Farewell Address has been read aloud in the U.S. Senate on February 22nd, which is his actual birthday? He was born on February 22, 1732.

See you again in March!
